I’m Becca — mom to five, high school special education teacher, and the heart behind Rooted & Risen, located in Owensboro, Kentucky.

My days are filled with small moments of pouring into others — I advocate for my students. I cheer for my kids. I show up again and again — even when it’s exhausting. These daily moments teach me patience, resilience, and the beauty of steady progress — the kind that doesn’t always look flashy, but runs deep and takes time.

Rooted & Risen was planted in a season where I was learning to settle. Not settle for less — but settle into where God has placed me. To stop striving. To trust the ground beneath my feet. This looks like growing strong roots from small beginnings, from hard seasons, from the ashes, and allowing those strong roots to rise above the storms and bloom right where I’ve been planted.

We began in 2026 as a Pete+Lucy retailer, offering children’s clothing chosen with intention. As we grow, so will our offerings — eventually expanding into custom creations and beyond. 

We look forward to seeing Rooted & Risen bloom into what it’s meant to be!
